Hello fellow fan owners and seekers,

After 13 wonderful years in Portland, we have relocated to the Seattle area to be closer to our families and to spend time with our two little guys — while they still want to spend time with us! In light of our move we must decide how our Laurelhurst Fans fit into our next chapter.

As entrepeneurs, we discovered that when you devote all your energy to your businessr, the company does grow and success does come — but the price you pay is steep in ways that far surpass finances.

With that said, we are taking a hiatus from Laurelhurst Fan Company until we have any further information as to the future of our company. We wish you the best in your period appropriate ventilation adventures!

"Dear Nicole and John - We had our fan installed yesterday and can't believe how enthusiastic one can be about a bathroom appliance.  It is absolutely beautiful - we and Mario and Sal (the installer) were all  grinning and oh-my-godding at what a piece of art it is.  It looks so incredibly perfect with the vintage tiles in the bathroom.  And, on top of everything, it works like a dream.  It's really strong and quiet.  It was amazing to not see steam, moisture and drips post-shower for the first time!  We will be painting soon and then will  get a photo.  This is such an amazing option for people who love the old in their old homes.  Thanks so much."

"Hi, we are really happy with our new Laurelhurst fan grill because it fits with the 1920s feel of our home.  It looks solid and classy and we were pleasantly surprised to discover that we could attach it to the existing fan with one center screw.  This avoided needing to drill through the new glass tile to attach the grill at the four corners.  
The grill design allows adequate air to be pulled through the fan but hides the blades and not so attractive inner workings."

No steam in the bathroom, no smoke in the kitchen! I love both fans and even in sub zero weather that outside damper is not a problem at all as far as draft or cold.
