The Parkview

Lewiston, Idaho - 1957

Aunt Winnie became a young widow after losing her husband in a tragic sawmill accident. With an entrepreneurial spirit, she pulled herself up and opened a little diner off the side of her home which she named, "Win's Parkview Inn."
Mom and her big sister, Robin, loved their summer visits from Seattle; perched on tall barstools, Aunt Winnie would serve her nieces to their hearts' content.
On the menu: heaps of potato salad, juicy hamburgers, salty French fries, and old-fashioned milkshakes from the Jadite green Hamilton Beach malt mixer!
